Since linux is open source operating system may be it is better for developers
For AI development i think Linux is better because it is free and open source software
since Linux provides better compatibility with embedded systems, and more development tools and libraries, I think Linux is better for IoT dev
as you all said its better to use linux. since most of the deployment servers and almost all embeded systems are linux based its always good idea to mimic production enviroment while development

linux would be great.
well in our case since we are new to linux it would be advisable to use 2 OS. we can do this with the help of virtualization software like oracle virtualBox or VMware workstation, install Linux on our virtual machine and window on our actual PC, I think it can also work the other way around guys.
