I am having a trouble why installing and configuring the eclipse program for Macbook, Can anyone with prior experience or who have installed the program successfully on his Macbook device helps me out.Thank you in advance.
Eclipse Kura is primarily designed to run on Linux-based operating systems and is not officially supported on macOS (MacBook). Similar to Windows, macOS is not a native platform for Kura, and the focus has been on supporting Linux environments.
Since macOS is a Unix-based operating system, it shares some similarities with Linux, and it might be possible to try running Kura on macOS through various methods, such as virtualization or containerization. However, this would likely require additional configurations, and it may not be as straightforward as running Kura on a Linux system.
can you please walk me through the installation process of kura on macBook???
Install a Virtualization Software: Download and install a virtualization software such as VirtualBox or VMware Fusion on your MacBook.
Obtain a Linux Distribution: Download a Linux distribution that is supported by Kura. Ubuntu is a common choice for Kura installations. Obtain the ISO image for the Linux distribution.
Create a Virtual Machine: Use the virtualization software to create a new virtual machine and install the Linux distribution as a guest OS. or if you are new to ubuntu and virtual box you can watch this → Telegram: Contact @linkedin_learning
Set Up Eclipse Kura: Once the Linux virtual machine is up and running, follow the standard installation procedure for Eclipse Kura on Linux. (2920) Setting up Eclipse Kura™ using the Eclipse Installer - YouTube
