Emulation support - Linux, Mac, Windows

The operating system I use is windows and How can we solve this problem? Should I change my operating system to Linux or use virtualbox?

Yeah, Kura Primarily targets linux based distributions. It’s compatible with Ubuntu, Debian and Red Hat. Since virtual box may have some limitations regarding direct use of hardware resources, I recommend you to use Fedora or Ubuntu depending on your level of experience.

Using virtual box have limitations in hardware access rights and resource usage, thus I advice you to switch to Linux. but if you still want to use the Windows OS for other stuff, consider dual booting

yeah its also my concern,do we have to change our os to linux?

Here is a link that shows the steps: Setting up Kura on PC

It looks like we need to install Linux. There is a procedure to install Linux as well as some introduction to the new environment [Linux Operating System - Crash Course for Beginners - YouTube]. I am trying to have both windows and Linux with a partitioned space with the appropriate size spared for the later. I have encountered some serious problems while attempting this so it is better you back up your files first. Also I am not sure if it will work for the currently available Ubuntu 23 since Eclipse Kura is not available for OS above Ubuntu 20. I will let you know after completing my attempt but this is what I have encountered so far.

Thank you for sharing @Mercury1565 . As you have mentioned, mistakes or errors during the partitioning process can lead to unintended consequences, including data loss. while backing up our data is the first and crucial step we should take, we should also choose reputable and well-established partitioning tools. I personally recommend EaseUS Partition Master as I have found it reliable. To avoid any mistake, we can find tutorials on YouTube that have full walk though videos of the whole process.
